This session will include storytime, some music making, some dancing, and some free time for kiddos and families to socialize.

Queer Yoga: Celebrating Connection
Join us for a beginner-friendly, all-level yoga practice focused on the Eight Limbs of Yoga, including invitational breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, and gentle movement. This trauma-informed session is open to 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and their friends.

Pancake Breakfast
This is a drop-in event running from 9 AM to 12 PM. There will be pancakes, an opportunity to visit and meet others, play some lawn games or do a craft.
Craft & Connect
We’re throwing it back with a beaded craft activity! Create a beaded animal of your choice! (Geckos, butterflies, frogs, etc.). We’ll have facilitators and printed instructions on how to create a variety of animals…or you can go your own way and make whatever beaded project you’d like!
Advocacy & Letter-Writing Workshop
In this workshop, geared toward allies and 2SLGBTQIA+ people, we will learn about the current political climate in relation to 2SLGGBTQIA+ issues in Alberta. Led by historian and queer advocate, Victoria Bucholtz, this workshop is intended to bring people together in advocating for our queer and trans community.

Loud & Proud Drag Show - Presented by BLAKE
Join us for an evening of glitz, glamour, and fierce performances by The Cabaret Company’s most captivating drag artists. This event promises high-energy lip-syncs, jaw-dropping costumes, and unforgettable moments that celebrate the spirit of pride in all its diversity. Whether you're a longtime fan of drag or a first-timer, this night will be filled with joy, laughter, and empowerment.
Cooking Together: Sharing Culture through Food
Join us for "Cooking Together: Sharing Culture through Food," an event that brings the spirit of the Canmore Pride Festival into the kitchen. Participants will dive into the heart of Filipino cuisine by preparing Tortang Talong, a beloved Filipino eggplant omelette.
Youth Art Night + Free Pizza!
Focusing on self-expression, each participant will decorate their own scarf, buff or cape to take home. This will be a casual event with time to do art, chat, and socialize.
Queer Open Mic
Calling all local singers and songwriters, dancers, spoken-word artists, and all types of performers! Join us for a special edition of the artsPlace Open Mic Night...in partnership with Canmore Pride!
All Levels Run With Pride (+ we’re giving away TWO pairs of Norda runners!)
Join us for a morning run during Canmore Pride that's open to everyone (2SLGBTQIA+ people and allies). We will have two routes (two separate groups) to choose from—a 4km walk/light run and a 7km mid-paced run. Led by RunUphill ambassadors, this event is a chance to come together as a community and celebrate Pride while getting active.
Pride Perspectives: Disability and Pride
Join us for an evening where we bring together a panel of speakers to explore the intersections of disability*, identity, and pride. This event aims to foster a deeper understanding of the unique experiences faced by individuals living with disabilities, and to celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Flag Raising + Opening Speeches
Join us as we kick off the Canmore Pride Festival with a warm and welcoming community event! On September 9, we'll gather in front of the Civic Centre to raise the Pride Progress flag, a symbol of our shared commitment to celebrating and supporting our 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
