Who is this event for?

This event is for 2SLGBTQIA+ teens and adults, ages 14 to 99+.

What to expect:

This is a monthly casual space to make connecions with other 2SLGBTQIA+ community members in the Canmore area. Drop-in anytime between 7 and 9 PM, the second Wednesday of every month.

Bring your own craft projects to work on…colouring, crochet, linocuts, embroidery, doodle, etc. It’s up to you! Canmore Pride will also be bringing some board games to play, but bring your own too if you wish. 

Light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.

No registration is required.

Accessibility: 

  • This venue has a door that can fit a wheelchair at the entrance located in the alleyway of 9th street. However, there may be a tight hallway to access the washroom.

  • The venue features several breakout rooms that attendees can access if they need a quiet space.

  • The entrance and washroom do not have an accessible door button. 

  • Washroom is gender-neutral (private stall). There is a tight hallway to access the washroom (approx 36 inches wide).

  • The venue capacity is around 40-50 people.

  • This event is held indoors with ample lighting.

Getting here:

Paid parking is available on the streets nearby. However, we encourage you to walk/bike/roll to the venue if it is accessible for you. 

Note: the entrance is located in the alleyway on 9th street.

Closest bus stop is: 9th st Canmore, behind Arts Place. It is 140 m from the venue space.

FREE ROAM PASSES AVAILABLE FOR BANFF RESIDENTS. We are able to provide free bus passes for folks travelling between Banff and Canmore for this event. Each pass is valid for one way travel on the Canmore – Banff Regional Route 3 with Roam Transit. (Limit 2 passes per person). Please email community@canmorepride.ca to get a pass.
