Mak Rogers
DIRECTOR | (they/them)
Mak is a social impact entrepreneur, speaker, and facilitator in the Bow Valley. They have a skill for engaging with a diverse range of audiences, from business owners, to non-profit leaders, to individuals in the community through their advocacy work, and their businesses.
Through Frankie D's Donuts, they have made major waves in reducing loneliness in the Bow Valley by bringing people together over Donuts. They hold "Donuts and Conversations" events, and “Together Sundays” on Instagram, as a means to create inclusive environments and connect people with mental health services in the Bow Valley.
Through their work with their socially-driven business, Scale Naturally, they collaborate with organizations to break down barriers around inclusivity through empathy-driven change.
Mak has been living in the Bow Valley since 2016 with their wife and goofy labradoodle, Frankie. They love this community, and enjoy hiking, paddleboarding and picnics by the lake.

TREASURER | (they/them)
Maria is a Canadian and New Zealand certified ski instructor and an Interpretive Guide, who moved here from Toronto in 2017. Larissa Dillabough
DIRECTOR OF YOUTH & FAMILY PROGRAMMING | (she/her)
Larissa has called the Bow Valley home for the past 9 years and is a passionate advocate, ally, and board member for Canmore Pride. Professionally, she works as a mental health and addiction therapist working with families and folks of all ages, which fuels her dedication to creating safer spaces for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Personally, as a parent to two young, gender-expansive children, Larissa's commitment to creating an accepting community is deeply rooted. She finds joy in raising her kids, caring for her critters (currently chickens and cats), and embracing the mountains while skiing and backcountry camping.
-
Britt Adams
SECRETARY (she/her)
Originally from Canberra, Australia, Britt has called the Bow Valley home for four years. In fact it was here that she met her soon to be wife back in 2017!
Initially drawn to Canada to ski the big mountains, it was the queer community in Canmore that has made it easy to stay and a pleasure to join the Canmore Pride Board.
Britt has a passion for skiing, camping, bedazzling (didn’t see that one coming did you!) and staying in touch with her osprey friends down by the river. With the dream of making all people feel welcome wherever they are, she hopes to return to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community the support and kindness she has received from it.

Grace Rempel
DIRECTOR | (she/her)
Grace has lived in Canmore for ten years, which means in another ten years she will be able to call herself a local!
With the optimism of a golden retriever and the grit of a queer woman who is never without her Leatherman, she enjoys solving problems and tackling every challenge head-on. Grace loves getting to know people and hearing about their passions. She’s stoked to be part of Canmore Pride so she can help facilitate spaces for people to be their true authentic selves.
Occasionally recognized in town as “Professor Bubbles” from her time volunteering with Girl Guides, Grace spent two years running youth programming for her local troupe, as well as providing event and admin support on annual camps.
Ask her about dog sledding, brewing beer, shucking oysters, fly fishing (not catching), potential ice cream flavours, tiny homes or potato farming in Australia.
