What to expect:

Community Care Hour is a dedicated space for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members (ages 16-99+) to connect and nurture mental wellness. This group offers an opportunity to share experiences and build supportive connections.

The group will begin with introductions to get to know one another. We’ll then engage in a guided collage activity to foster creativity and mental well-being. After the activity, we’ll come together for an optional sharing circle, sharing insights and experiences relating to the activity, and conclude with a general group discussion.

Community Care Hour will provide an environment for participants to:

  • Share their experiences related to identity, and mental health.

  • Learn about mental health resources and self-care strategies.

  • Build connections with others who share similar experiences and identities.
